We have reviewed our working practices in response to the revised public notice on improvement standards for bus drivers (commonly known as the 2024 problem), which came into effect in fiscal year 2024, and have also sought to secure human resources through the recruitment promotion "Good Workplace Project" implemented in fiscal year 2023. However, the shortage of bus drivers has not been resolved. There is also a continuing shortage of maintenance staff who are responsible for maintaining buses, and passenger service staff who are responsible for front desk operations at Haneda Airport.
In order to further strengthen recruitment, we are currently reviewing our wage system, increasing the starting salary for each position, including drivers, and increasing the base salary for all current employees. In addition to the recruitment measures currently being implemented, we will continue to carry out promotions to recruit personnel widely.
We have raised the starting salaries for all positions, including drivers.
We have implemented an average wage increase of 18,000 yen, including the equivalent of regular salary increases.
Until now, regular salary increases have had a gradual increase curve starting at age 55 and stopped after reaching age 59. However, with this revision of the system, salary increases will continue until age 59, become more gradual from age 60, and stop after reaching age 61. By raising the age of the main regular salary increase by four years, the system has become more reassuring for those joining our company as a second career.
Our company's retirement age was previously 62, but since last year we have been gradually extending this, so that employees born in 1964 (Showa 39) or later can work until age 65. Even after retirement, they can continue to work as contract employees.
Anyone who meets the requirements for obtaining a Class 2 large vehicle license is eligible to apply.
It is possible to take the exam even if you have an automatic transmission-only license, and we will fully cover the costs of obtaining a Class 2 large vehicle license, and we will also provide a daily allowance while you are enrolled in the driving school.
After joining the company, new employees undergo training for a total of about four months, consisting of two months at our training and education center and two months at the assigned sales office, and receive careful instruction until they are able to work independently.
In response to the voices of those who want to try to become a driver even if they are a little older, we will be reviewing our wage system and expanding the target age for the driver training system after the recruitment exam in June 2025. The retirement age has also been extended to 65, so even if you join the company at 49 years old, you will be able to work for 16 years, making it a great second career!
We provide the following financial support to those who will be relocating to the applicable areas when joining our company or being assigned to a sales office.
500,000 to 650,000 yen (depending on the prefecture from which you are moving)
We hold company information sessions at our bus offices approximately twice a month, mainly on weekday evenings.
The event is held at a time that allows people to drop by after work, and it is held at an actual depot so that participants can easily imagine what it will be like to make their debut as a driver.
In principle, we hold these events every month as exclusive events for people who have come into contact with us at company information sessions, recruitment events, etc.
Anyone with a Class 1 standard driver's license can participate, and in addition to learning about driving operations and the voices and atmosphere of our staff, you will also be able to experience part of the actual driving lessons.

In addition to the statutory annual paid holidays, we provide our own paid holidays.
We provide additional paid leave to employees working in our sales offices, and if they do not use the leave within the period, they are bought out.
Annual paid leave not taken within the period will be transferred to our own saved paid leave (there are usage standards, etc.)
If you acquire a qualification required for your job, we will provide you with a bonus according to that qualification.
The company will fully cover the cost of obtaining an automobile mechanic qualification.
