World's tallest tower at 634m

Tokyo Skytree, certified by Guinness World Records as the world's tallest tower, has a height of 634m. It was built as a TV tower to provide a stable supply of TV signals in the Tokyo metropolitan area, which is home to many buildings over 200 meters tall. What is noteworthy is the shape of the tower. The footwells are designed in a triangular shape to reduce the feeling of pressure and take into consideration the effects of sunlight. The design becomes more circular towards the top, so you can enjoy a variety of expressions depending on the viewing angle and location.

In the large aquarium filled with fish from the Ogasawara Islands, a World Heritage Site, large fish such as white crocodiles (sharks) and rays swim leisurely, and schools of colorful fish gracefully pass in front of your eyes. Next to it is a very popular zone where you can see penguins and fur seals up close. The beautiful layout is also a must-see, with a 360-degree view of the aquarium and an aquarium that recreates natural ecology. It is also gaining popularity for its innovative display methods, such as simple explanations and a laboratory where you can watch the breeding staff at work.
