-
If you use the Misaki Maguro Ticket, you can ride Keikyu buses as many times as you like within the designated Miura/Misaki area! You can go anywhere on the route, so you can easily go to cafes and shops that are difficult to reach without a car. If you find a place that interests you, you can always get off and take a walk. First, we will aim for Jogashima.

What is Misaki Tuna Ticket?
The first ticket in the set of three is a round-trip train ticket from a major station on the Keikyu Line to the Miura area, and a ticket that allows you to ride unlimited buses within the area. The second ticket is the ``Tuna Manpuku Ticket,'' which allows you to eat local tuna dishes at a partner restaurant, and the third ticket is the ``Miura/Misaki Omohide Ticket,'' which allows you to choose between using the facility or purchasing a souvenir.

Jogashima is located at the southernmost tip of Kanagawa Prefecture. Your journey to Jogashima begins when you cross a bridge built high enough to overlook the surrounding area. The island is walkable, with a width of approximately 1.8 km from east to west and approximately 0.6 km from north to south, and there are hiking trails that allow you to enjoy the rich natural beauty of the island, making it possible to go anywhere on foot. There are many things to see, such as the cliffs and rocky coastline, and the beautiful scenery of the two lighthouses. Let's go to Jogashima right away.
-
Umanose Cave, located on the south side of Jogashima, is a spot with a series of views that are unlike anything you'll find in Japan, including the hiking course leading up to it. As you walk along the path, you will encounter a green tunnel and a spectacular view of the sea and cliffs. Please take lots of photos. The cave, which was created by erosion by the sea over many years, is truly a mystery of nature. Let's take a walk around the area while listening to the sound of the ocean swaying and bouncing. It is also the perfect place to relax in front of the sea.
-
If you walk east along the hiking route, you will arrive at the easternmost point, Awazaki Lighthouse. When you go down the stairs that lead to the sea, you will find yourself in another world. There is a spectacular view created by the strata. The hiking course along the way offers spectacular views overlooking the ocean, so it's a must-see spot on a clear day.

-
If you want to enjoy lunch with delicious tuna and fresh seafood, go to Misaki Fish Market Restaurant on the second floor of Misaki Fish Market, located on the west side of Misaki Port. Of course, you can use the ``Tuna Manpuku Ticket.''
-
What you can eat with your ticket is the ``Tuna Ticket Market Whimsical Sashimi Set Meal.'' Because it is located in Misaki, a fishing port town, and inside a fish market, they offer a special menu with plenty of fresh and expensive sashimi. Another specialty is the fried fish made with fish that the chef procures from the market. This set is very satisfying in taste and volume.

Misaki Port is famous as one of Japan's leading deep-sea tuna fishing bases. Its history dates back approximately 300 years to the Kyoho era of the 8th Shogun Yoshimune. At that time, it was a fishing village on a sandy beach, but since the Taisho era, it has been continuously developed as a fishing base and has taken on its current appearance. There are many spots that can be enjoyed as a tourist fishing port, and you can watch tuna auctions for free from the second floor of the fish market. The scenery along the coast overlooking Jogashima is wonderful, and the main feature is that it's fun to walk around. Urari, located in the center, sells tuna, seasonal seafood, and vegetables directly, as well as souvenirs made from them, so be sure to stop by.
-
Walking around the town around the fishing port is also a recommended way to sightsee. There are stylish cafes and donut shops in the center, making it the perfect place to take a break when you're tired of walking. Jogashima can be seen from all over the fishing port, and you can enjoy taking photos everywhere.

Shops where you can use Tuna Manpuku tickets
You can choose to dine at one of 32 affiliated restaurants. All restaurants have their signature menus or special menus, so when you look at the price of menu items in the same class, the prices are reasonable.

Use the Misaki Tuna Ticket's "Miura/Misaki Omohide Ticket" to go to Keikyu Aburatsubo Marine Park, an aquarium where you can have fun playing with sea creatures. It is designed with the viewer in mind, with fun content such as a large donut-shaped aquarium, an all-weather indoor marine theater, a penguin island where you can observe living creatures up close, and a cute forest. This is an aquarium with exhibits.
-
Especially recommended is the corner where nine otters live. In particular, you can watch otters swimming energetically at the ``Otter Playground,'' which connects two pools with a waterway. This is a paid program that requires reservations, but in the "Feed the Otters a Fish and Touch Your Finger" event held every day, you can feed the otters fish and touch them.
-
At Keikyu Aburatsubo Marine Park, sharks and rays are exhibited in the migratory tank. The sand crocodile, which is nearly 3m long, and the sawfish, which have a distinctive pointed snout, are especially impressive. On Penguin Island, you can observe penguins very close, so be sure to take a commemorative photo with them in the background.

In particular, from the sunset hill and observation deck of Arasaki Park, which has been selected as one of Kanagawa's top 50 scenic spots, you can see Mt. Fuji across Sagami Bay. The scenery is spectacular during the day, but if you can, try visiting in the evening. The beautiful view of the sunset and Mt. Fuji will surely remain in your memories.
